If you love beach holidays then you will love Turkey beach holidays. Turkey has some of the most amazing beaches in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas. Beaches in Turkey range from miles of long sand stretches to small sandy coves. There are also beaches with shingle sands and rock formation for those who like to dive in the water life of the region.

Where to stay ?

Beach locations in Turkey include the Dalaman region where predominately there are smaller sandy coves, perfect for relaxing without too much fuss. In the Dalaman region there is also Oludeniz beach. This is an infamous location in the Mediterranean where there is a blue lagoon. The blue lagoon is said to be the most photographed spot in the Med - and rightly so. With its aqua blue waters and its course sandy beach you will be amazed by Oludeniz as a beach area. The lagoon offers sanctuary from waves and gives the ideal place for swimming and relaxation in the Mediterranean sunshine.

Other areas where there wonderful beaches include the Antalya region. This is famous for its long stretches of sandy beaches; you will find ample water sports and facilities in these areas. Mainly occupied by 5* hotels, this area is known as the Turkish Riviera - a haven for beach lovers.

The beaches of Turkey do not end there as there are beaches across many of the costliness including the Izmir area and Bodrum areas. Izmir areas include Kusadasi a popular stop off for cruises. Here you will be spoilt for shopping with its labyrinth of shops along with miles of sandy beaches. Kusadasi has a slightly more windy sea range perfect for windsurfers in the area.

Finally we come on to the Bodrum region; this includes Bodrum harbour town where the Bohemian emphasis is felt. Other areas of Bodrum offers small sandy coves ideal for dipping in the sea. With a varied emphasis of clientele Bodrum has reinvented itself as offering some of the best atmosphere in the region.
